On Wednesday we said farewell to our 2 Scania K340 Berkhof 55 seater coaches and welcomed 2 of our new coaches to the fleet.
Richard, our Managing Director, delivered them to Scania's bus and coach dealership near Sheffield on Wednesday to collect the first 2 of our new coaches.
Richard commented "it's a sad day to say farewell to 2 of our most utilised coaches, they have only been with us since April 2014 and have been a great asset to our business. However, it is a real pleasure to collect our 2 brand new vehicles." After the drive back from Sheffield which took around 3.5 hours and through 3 different seasons of weather including sun, rain and snow, the vehicles have arrived home.
He continued to state "the vehicle was a delight to drive, it is amazing how the changes in ride, noise and driving quality have improved. I am very happy with the finish, quality and appearance of our new coaches."
The first customers to travel on these vehicles were from one of our Chinese tourist company's who have started a 6 day tour of the United Kingdom including taing the sights of London, Oxford, Stratford, York, Manchester, Edinburgh and Glascow.
